Another idea is to offer to give a talk. This can either be a presentation or you could do a Q&A, which means that the attendees create the event for you.

Thanks for asking about this, David. The key to success in networking is to keep turning up. Don’t expect rapid results. Spend some time learning about the other members of the network. Share useful, helpful and relevant information with them. People buy from people that they know, like and trust and this all takes time.
    With regards to your…[Read more]

If you personalise your marketing emails, you will receive a higher opening rate. Make sure that names are correct and that first names start with a Leading Capital. In Mailchimp, you can use this merge code: *|FNAME|*

Thanks for sharing this generous offer, William. I love the way in which you are integrating print with digital marketing, so that your clients can track their customer’s engagement levels.

Hi Brian, Thanks for asking about this. I think that you should keep the mothballed URL (domain name). I imagine that it is a variant of greenbuildingencyclopaedia.uk? Within the associated website, I suggest that you have separate pages that point to your other websites. This will mean that you can SEO optimise each page and point at the relevant website.

Here is a free to use website for media contacts: https://media.info
It does have some limitations, however, it is free. 🙂

A marketing case study is a form of social proof. It shows prospective customers that you can deliver. Here is a case study structure:

    * What did they have before?
    * Why did they decide to change?
    * How did they find you?
    * Why did they decide to buy from you?
    * What did they think of the product / service?
    * What benefits are they receiving?

One of our member’s had their website hacked and we did everything that we could to get them back up and running quickly. There appeared to be no reason that the hackers did this: perhaps it was an automated / random attack?

Thank you for sharing this, David. Yes, I agree with you that there are always relevant organisations that are well worthwhile joining. Some provide support, whilst others provide training and events.

What does your brand stand for? Which words would you associate with your brand? What do you want customers to think, when they see your brand?

According to research conducted by Mailchimp, the best time to send an email is 6:00am. You can prepare a campaign the day before, save and come out of the campaign and you will see a ‘Schedule’ button towards the top right hand corner of the screen.

In Mailchimp, if you are going to resend to non-openers, I recommend that you wait for at least three days before you do this.

If you are looking for new clients, try this approach. Contact five people every working day. Do not try to sell to them. Ask them an open question and see if they respond. If you already know them, they are quite likely to get back to you. If you don’t know them, take the time to build a relationship. Feedback, anyone?

Subheads within your copy can make the piece easier to read. If you are writing an item for your website, H2 subheads can also help with your SEO results.

Think of each subhead as a headline in its own right. Make it informative and catchy, so that the reader who is scanning through the page is drawn into the copy.

Hi Walter, The three platforms have many differences. I would focus on LinkedIn, as it is the world’s largest B2B business networking platform. You can share blogs, articles, media coverage and hints and tips there – however – sales come from 1:1 messages with buyers. People are on LinkedIn to find new jobs and promote their enterprises, so the…[Read more]
